Fuck off. Seriously. By ‘the enemy’ you mean the people defending their country from you while you invade for monetary reasons. In the process killing millions of civilians with no great objective.
Meanwhile back home the public are fighting for their own freedoms and you have the arrogance to think that you’re superior? Fuck off.
This was posted by my cousin who just joined the marines. You can imagine how I feel about that..
I don’t like the military. And I don’t like the kind of people who join or the kind of people who come back from war. I don’t like what it stands for and I don’t like that the one thing that the US is really good at is maintaining the world’s largest military.
Congratulations, you are the 1% who are sanctioned to kill others. Does that make you feel like a good person? I’m sure Jesus would be sooo proud!
And they are for some reason regarded as heroes.
Because everyone who joins the military is some gun happy murder machine who revels in his own sadism.
Oh… wait…
But seriously?
Fuck all of you. This generalizing bull shit makes you no better, nor more mature than the people you cry out against.
Yes, the war in the middle east is shit. And yes, this demotivator is really stupid. But most soldiers there don’t really want to be in the war. But they’re in the army for whatever reason they joined, so they have to be. Why? Likely because when it came to deployment, they didn’t draw the straw that sent them to the cushy location in Europe or Japan. Because the consequences for disobeying orders as a soldier come with pretty hefty prices. And its not a job most of them can quit before their deployment, or commission is over without major physical trauma.
And lets not forget that these 100% innocent people raid caravans, plant bombs in streets, and use innocent people was weapons. The scenario isn’t so black and white on the infantry level, and you are ridiculous for even insinuating it is.
